The following structures can generate in frozen ocean:
- Ocean Ruin — Ocean ruins come in warm sandstone and cold stone variants, and their chests can hold buried treasure maps.
Finding a frozen ocean in your world
Biome placement depends on the world seed and the Minecraft version. Open your seed on the seed map, then pan around: biome shading shows where each biome sits, and structure layers show what generates inside it.
Note that biome rendering requires the WebAssembly generation engine described in the seed map documentation. Structure candidate positions, chunk geometry and slime chunks are computed exactly without it.
