Privacy policy
Short version: there are no accounts, your seeds are processed in your browser, and analytics are limited to anonymous usage events.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, sign-ups or passwords.
- No Minecraft usernames, world files or save data.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers.
- No stored IP addresses, and no browser or device fingerprinting.
- No third-party analytics, and no data shared with anyone.
Seeds and map state
World generation runs entirely in your browser. Seeds appear in the page URL so that a map view can be shared or bookmarked, which means a seed you open is present in your own browser history and in any link you choose to share. Seeds are not stored on a server for processing.
Analytics
This site keeps its own traffic statistics. There is no third-party analytics service, no advertising network, and no data is shared with anyone.
For each page view it records:
- the page, and the site you arrived from
- your country, taken from the header our content network adds
- your browser, operating system and device type
- your language, and a rough size bracket for your screen
To count how many people visited rather than how many pages were opened, we need some way to tell one visitor from another. Rather than a cookie or a device fingerprint, a one-way hash is computed from your network address, your browser's user-agent string and today's date. It is used to recognise a repeat view on the same day and cannot be reversed. Because the date is part of it, the value is different tomorrow — so it cannot be used to follow anyone over time.
Your network address is never stored. It is read while the request is being handled, used to compute that hash, and discarded. There is no cookie, nothing is written to your device, and no profile of any kind is built.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is recorded at all. Records are deleted automatically after around a year.
Local storage
The site may store small preferences (such as the last selected version) in your browser. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared through your browser settings.
Hosting and logs
Like any website, the hosting provider processes standard request logs — IP address, user agent and requested URL — for security and reliability. These are handled by the hosting provider under their own policy and are not used to build user profiles.
Children
The site is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
