- Ruined Portal — Overworld ruined portals generate in every biome — buried, underwater or exposed — and their chests can contain enchanted golden apples and obsidian.
- Nether Ruined Portal — Nether ruined portals are denser than their overworld counterparts and a reliable early obsidian source.
- Nether Fortress — Nether fortresses are the only place blazes and wither skeletons spawn naturally, and the only survival source of nether wart.
- Bastion Remnant — Bastion remnants are piglin strongholds containing gold blocks, netherite upgrade templates and pigstep music discs.
- Nether Fossil — Nether fossils are bone block skeletons that generate in soul sand valleys.
